Hours of work will follow the flexible work schedule in accordance with Article 19.01(a) of the NAPE-HP Collective Agreement, based on 75 hours bi-weekly (by mutual agreement). Variable shifts may apply.
Salary CG-41 of the HP salary scales (CAD40.11 - CAD47.30 per hour) All benefits in accordance with the HP collective agreement.

Demands, duties, qualifications
Reporting to the Physiotherapist II, the primary purpose of the Physiotherapist I position is to develop, implement and evaluate physiotherapy services in the areas of acute care, community care, long term care, injury prevention and health promotion for the clients served by the Charles S Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, using a combination of in-person and virtual telehealth service options
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a School of Physiotherapy recognized by the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Physiotherapists;
- Registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Physiotherapists;
- Registration with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association;
- Access to automobile for work purposes;
- Valid driver's license;
- The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory certificate of conduct.
Duties (include but not limited to)
:
- Plans, develops, implements and evaluates the physiotherapy program for inpatients, outpatients and community-based services;
- Assesses plans and provides treatment to referred clients;
- Counsels and instructs clients and their caregivers regarding individualized programs and goals;
- Maintains written clinical records; compiles patient reports; and maintains daily & monthly statistics;
- Travel within the region is required;
- Performs other related duties as required.
