Job Summary
The Trades Worker II (Plumber) is a journeyperson level position that performs skilled work in all types of plumbing installations, including pressure piping, sanitary sewer piping, plumbing of fixtures and other specialized hospital equipment. Work involves maintenance work in addition to new construction or renovation work, liaising/communicating with contractors and performing other related duties as required.

Work is impacted by time pressures/deadlines, interruptions and lack of control over work pace as priorities change, services being interrupted, etc.
Job Qualifications
Successful completion of a Journeyperson's Certificate in Plumbing.
A minimum of three years of plumbing experience is required.
Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset.
Demonstrated strong time management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A satisfactory record of work performance is required.
