Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have an opportunity as Analyst Payroll Conditions.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

  • Responsible for the administration of the collective agreements across the country; this includes all required changes to SAP HR and WFM.
  • Liaise between Labour Relations, Sobeys Payroll Department, Store Systems and other HR corridors for communicating changes regarding collective agreement ratifications and impacts to SAP and WFM/Kronos.
  • Responsible for National HR Systems Maintenance requests related to Collective Agreement changes within SAP.
  • Validate/test changes in HRQ and providing approval to move to HRP.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely payments of retroactive payments and or lump sums based on contract ratifications.
  • Partner with the Payroll team to implement any contractual rate changes, premium changes as outlined in the collective agreements.
  • Develop functional documentation including procedure manuals, pay scales.
  • Support Franchise CBA site set up requirements and applicable changes
  • Responsible for National HR Systems Maintenance Requests for Non-Union Scales from the Compensation Team

Key support accountabilities

  • Support HR Operations and other HR Corridors by supporting the data collection, analysis and distribution of all CBA data.
  • Support the business by providing timely CBA data and analytics that support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with all corridors in the Solutions and Innovation team to identify data and reporting sources and options in all HR Systems.
  • Collaborate with data governance group to ensure that the data into the system is set up to allow effective retrieval of the data out of the system at a later date.

What you have to offer:

  • An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
  • Familiarity with Payroll, HR Processes, Data and Reporting is preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP HR
