Cobequid Foundation supports the healthcare team at Cobequid Community Health Centre by funding priority medical equipment. With over 150,000 patients annually seeking healthcare and as home to Nova Scotia's second busiest Emergency Department, we go the extra mile for our patients.

Cobequid Foundation is on an exciting trajectory of growth and is searching for an individual passionate about promoting community health, possessing logistical skills, and eager to make a positive impact. Join us on this journey!
Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you'll play a pivotal role in our team, driving fundraising efforts to new heights. You will be instrumental in crafting and executing comprehensive annual and multi-year plans, focusing on major gifts, intermediate gifts, and strategic partnerships.
Working closely with the President & CEO and our committed volunteers, you'll forge meaningful relationships and advocate passionately for our fundraising priorities. Understanding our mission and the profound impact of our work is essential as you champion our cause. Your primary responsibility will be securing substantial donations through targeted campaigns and initiatives. As an integral part of our fundraising team, you'll manage a portfolio of prospects and donors, ensuring we meet our annual financial goals with confidence and determination.

+ Qualifications
- 3-5 years of proven relationship building in charitable, non-profit, or private sectors.
- Relevant post-secondary degree or equivalent training and experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate relationships with individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with research, writing, and presentations preferred.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, gift development, and supporting senior volunteers preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple assignments and adapting to changing priorities.
- Problem-solving ability, innovation, and creativity, with a willingness to learn.
- Successful completion of a criminal records check is required.
- Possession of a Nova Scotia Driver's License and access to a vehicle essential.

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm (37.5 hours a week).
- Collaborative office environment. 100% in-person role.
- Location: 40 Freer Lane, Lower Sackville, NS.
- Wage Band: $48,000-$63,000
