We are seeking a Media Manager to join our Retail Media Network team. In this role, you will lead a team of Media Planners and Ad Ops Specialists, overseeing media plan development, campaign activation, and cross-functional collaboration. Your primary focus will be on optimizing processes, ensuring campaigns meet advertiser objectives, and enhancing the tools necessary for successful execution.

Here's where you'll be focusing:
- Lead a team of Media Planners and Ad Ops Specialists; manage the day-to-day prioritization and operations of the team in close collaboration with the RMN manager and the Head of Empire Media+.
- Oversee the development and execution of media plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and market trends.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to inform media planning strategies, including audience targeting, budget allocation, and channel selection.
- Manage strategic relationships and ensure close collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Email, Site)
- Establish best practices to ensure that media plans meet advertiser objectives, while optimizing campaign execution and in-flight performance.
- Own and enhance tools and capabilities required for campaign planning and activation (e.g., inventory tracker, analytics dashboards).
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization in campaign planning, execution, and deployment processes (e.g., improving SLAs, automating inventory reservation).
What you have to offer:
- Mandatory: 8+ years of work experience in an advertising campaign management role at an agency, adtech company, media network, or media publisher.
- Strong hands-on experience with digital advertising, including multiple formats (video, search, banner), placements (e.g., onsite, email, in-store), buy/sell types (auction-based, direct), media buying platforms (e.g., DV360, Meta, other social), and ad-serving tech platforms (e.g., GAM360, Criteo, Citrus Ads, AdButler).
- Proven experience in planning and activating campaigns across onsite and offsite channels, including strategic allocation of budgets to meet advertiser objectives and inventory management.
- Familiarity with measurement and optimization of digital advertising campaigns (e.g., impressions, clicks, ROAS).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
