JOB SUMMARY:

Jointly with the members of the Regional Policy and Forms Office, the incumbent coordinates the activities related to the management of policies, procedures and forms at the local and regional levels. The incumbent promotes a uniform process for the management, development, approval, implementation and distribution of policies and forms. The incumbent adheres to legislation, respective standards, and best practices. The incumbent participates in managing the Network's general policy/procedure manual and supports the development of regional manuals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health or related discipline or any other equivalent combination of training;
  • 5 to 10 years of work experience in a health care system;
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in process development and policy/procedure and forms development within a complex organization and having played an advisory role in these fields;
  • A combination of work experience deemed equivalent may be considered;
  • Extensive knowledge of the various components of the health care system;
  • Intermediate-level skills using the computer programs Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, PDF Acrobat Pro and lower-level skills using Excel and SharePoint;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, in both official languages combined with excellent grammatical skills;
  • Strong skills analyzing, synthesizing and drafting text;
  • Independence, initiative, creativity and strong leadership;
  • Excellent time management, strong organizational skills, reliable work methods, ability to prioritize and manage several activities at the same time;
  • Ability to plan and coordinate a work process;
  • Ability to promote users' understanding and interest as well as to influence and persuade users at all levels of the organization to use the recognized process and standards;
  • Ability to guide and advise and to provide necessary supervision;
  • Strong problem-solving ability;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
