Background
This critical role is responsible for supporting regional recruitment in Atlantic Canada and Bermuda in attracting prospects to the world-class Canadian CPA business credential. It works closely with our provincially based recruiters and provides organizational support in coordinating the school's strategic communication plan vis-à-vis our key stakeholder groups.

We are simultaneously a close-knit team and yet with great independence. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the Halifax office.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, deliver, and measure the recruitment-focused marketing plan, including paid advertising
- Research and analysis of marketing campaign metrics, conversion rates, market trends and feedback from our market segments; monthly reconciliation and reporting on outcomes
- Monitor media and current-affairs developments across a wide range of media in turn providing decision support to management on key marketing strategies
- Take ownership of the school's website, ensuring currency and relevancy of content, creation of landing pages and lead forms for conversions
- Lead and execute a social-media plan to increase the visibility and vibrancy of our brand
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team and act as the main point of contact with external vendors to implement a digital marketing strategy encompassing web, social and SEM
- Event support and promotion of recruitment-related events as needed
- Develop and distribute surveys to gather feedback from our market segments
- Develop, deliver, and measure the strategic-communication plan and distribute mass corporate and marketing communications relating to sensitive topics with a high degree of accuracy
- Manage and reconcile the annual marketing budget for all print advertising, online advertising and out of home advertising
- Work within the CPA profession's branding standards and style guide
Key Competencies Required for Selection
- Minimum of a post-secondary degree, ideally in marketing, communications, and/or public relations, journalism; or equivalent combination of training and relevant working experience
- Possess five years' experience in a marketing role
- Exceptional written communication and editing skills; strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and planning; strong editing and proof-reading skills
- Fluency in French is an asset as we are a bilingual school
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop is required
- Well versed in the use of contemporary social-media platforms, with a demonstrated understanding of digital marketing techniques and experience in storytelling using social media
- A team player, able to work independently and collaboratively in a small office environment
- Basic HTML knowledge is an asset
