Source Atlantic is seeking a Supervisor - Coordinator of Crane to join our team in Saint John, NB.
As a Crane Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing all crane service operations, while ensuring safety and efficiency. This role involves coordinating & quoting service jobs for technicians, ensuring compliance with safety procedures/training, and maintaining technician equipment/tooling requirements. You will also be responsible for sourcing parts and shipping & receiving. You must be willing to participate in continuous professional development. Some travel & overtime will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Crane Technicians: Oversee crane inspection and service jobs for quality and efficiency.
- Quoting & Repairs: Quote and order repairs based on technician reports. Coordinate with OEM and aftermarket suppliers. Specify new crane systems and custom packages.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with CSA and local standards. Develop safety plans, PPE requirements, and site-specific protocols.
- Training: Write safety procedures and coordinate technician training and certification renewals.
- Planning & Scheduling: Plan and schedule crane services with customers. Arrange sub-contractors and heavy equipment rentals.
- Record Keeping: Maintain equipment logs, service records, and incident reports.
- Communication: Address team and customer concerns promptly and provide project updates.
The ideal candidate will possess:

- Must enjoy working with customers
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Additional training in crane, rigging or safety is preferred but not a requirement
