Purpose:
The Network Manager will oversee and manage a network of bank-approved Custodians, Depositories, and Tri[1]Party agents. They will be pivotal in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with these entities to streamline network operations and align them with the bank's business strategies and goals.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Network Manager serve as the primary relationship point of contact for bank-approved Custodians, Depositories, and Tri-Party agents, supporting strategic business decisions related to new ventures and market expansion.
- Maintain strong relationships with the Custodians, Depositories, and Tri-Party agents and negotiate terms, and manage contracts to align with our business strategies and ensure seamless workflows.
- Conduct regular service reviews and assess the performance of Custodians, Depositories, and Tri-Party agents to enhance the quality of service provided to the bank.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, KYC, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) departments to ensure new business relationships comply with regional regulatory requirements and Scotia's firm-wide risk and control measures.
- Facilitate communication between external and internal stakeholders to uphold global operational and regulatory standards.
- Provide support to Internal and External Auditors in meeting year-end and ad-hoc audit requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise on projects requiring Network Management support.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance.
- Prior experience in the Network Management Field preferred.
- Knowledge of Securities / Collateral management and Capital Markets Operations.
- Knowledge of custody / cash products.
- Certifications related to capital markets are an asset.
Work Arrangement: This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
