Salary Band: $71,652 - $113,748 - A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 at the time of this posting. (Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, market conditions, relevant experience, education, training and internal equity).
What You'll Do:
Be Our Risk Guru: Provide top-notch risk advice and facilitate risk assessments for various technical projects and daily operations. Help the business understand and manage its risks effectively.
Shape Our Future: Implement and advance AL's risk) framework. Align identified risks with our strategic goals and manage our risk management system.
Spot the Risks: Identify and assess operational, strategic, IT, governance, regulatory, and external risks. Your keen eye will help us stay ahead of the game.
Report Like a Pro: Work with Senior Leadership and business leads to create a Quarterly Risk Report. Summarize key risks, mitigation efforts, and emerging threats for Senior Management and the Audit Committee.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor's degree / Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years in IT, IT Security, project management or a related field.
- Certifications: IT or Risk certifications like CRM, CIA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent are a plus.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- IT Risk Savvy: Experience with IT infrastructure, security concepts/standards, and data management principles.

Requirements:
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Must reside in Atlantic Canada.
