The Role

Connors Transfer Ltd., a division of Cooke are looking for a 6 month contract - Driver Recruitment Administrator in the Woodstock, NB office. To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with outstanding attention to detail, great problem solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day recruiting
  • Screen resumes, interview applicants and obtain pre-employment documents.
  • Coordinate appropriate assessments and references.
  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community networking events, and more to attract quality candidates.
  • Represent the company always in a Professional manner.
  • Maintain postings and applicants in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) along with our recruiting email inbox.
  • Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Must have Recruiting experience.
  • 2 years of transportation industry experience
  • Must be detailed oriented and also have great problem solving and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficient in MS Suite of products with experience using an industry standard Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience using ATS systems
  • Excellent PC skills - Windows, MS Office Suite, Internet Logistician
  • Valid passport, driver's license and reliable transportation required for meetings and events.
  • ability to travel when needed
