Our mission is clear: keep Canada's SAR crews and aircraft prepared, ensuring a no-fail mission for the people of Canada.

We are currently looking for a Training Centre Operations Team Leader (TCOL) to join our team in Comox, British Columbia. The TCOL will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our training center meets the RCAF's critical training needs on the C-295 aircraft. Your efforts will directly contribute to keeping Canada's SAR crews mission-ready, supporting the high-stakes operations that save lives across our country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Training Support System Manager (TSSM) in delivering training aligned with Canada's Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Manage and resolve training schedule conflicts to maximize efficiency.
  • Lead the Training Centre Operations Team, ensuring smooth coordination and resource optimization for all FWSAR training activities.
  • Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain the high standard of training excellence.
  • Participate in Change Control Board meetings to address and document training system improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with CAE and AirPro Engineering to implement aircraft training device service bulletins and address any deviations in the system.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, post-secondary diploma, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of military environments and training processes.
  • Experience in high-pressure, dynamic work settings with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in FWSAR or a training center environment is an asset.
