The Law Society of New Brunswick is the legal profession's regulatory body responsible for the protection of the public interest in the administration of justice. We are seeking a Trust Compliance Auditor to join our valued team.
The Trust Compliance Auditor plans, organizes, leads, and manages the Trust Account Audit Program of the Law Society in accordance with the Law Society Act, 1996, the Uniform Trust Account Rules, and the Code of Professional Conduct.
Essential functions
- Manage the Trust Account Audit Program
- Conduct audits and investigations
- Communicate findings and evidence in reports and presentations
- Research and develop policies, procedures and standards
- Provide trust compliance guidance and information to members and the public

Qualifications
- Membership in good standing with the Association of Chartered Professional Accountants of New Brunswick or eligibility for membership in good standing is required.
- Progressive audit experience and knowledge of the Law Society's Uniform Trust Account Rules are considered assets.
- Highly developed communications skills, both verbal and written, in English and French.
The Trust Compliance Auditor may work remotely. Travel throughout New Brunswick will be required.
Remuneration: $93,668 to $110,198 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package.
