Position: Part-Time Patrol Guard
Site: Minto Place (Colliers)
Hours: Saturday and Sunday
Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
Payrate: $19.19/hour
Posting Date: September 26, 2024 (Internal)

This is a temporary position for a minimum of three (3) months.
Job Description:
  • Proactive & reactive security patrols
  • Cross-training and rotation with control centre staff
  • Surveillance monitoring
  • Response to incidents
  • Report writing
  • Investigate routine incidents
  • Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
  • Management of Aggressive Behaviour and Use of Force certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace and flexible environment while maintaining the utmost professionalism
  • Moderate physical activity, standing and walking for long periods of time in outdoor weather conditions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation
  • Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
  • Adhere to our Code of Ethics in performing job requirements
  • Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written English and French communication skills Required
  • Management of Aggressive Behaviour and Use of Force Certification
    • Paladin Security is willing to offer this certification on a commitment contract (minimum of six (6) months) for new hires upon Onboarding
    • Paladin provides an opt-in certification program for applicants who are not currently certified prior to your Paladin onboarding. More details are available as requested during the interview
