Job Description:

Department Overview:

The Global Compliance Department is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance across TDBG in accordance with the Global Compliance Operating Framework. The team is accountable for promoting regulatory compliance by developing and maintaining compliance programs, including identifying and disseminating regulatory developments to businesses they support, maintaining Compliance policies, managing complaints and regulatory filings, providing relevant training, carrying out independent monitoring and oversight activities, reporting on the state of compliance to the Board, UDP and senior management, as needed, and providing advice and support, as required.

Job Details:

Reporting to the VP, Compliance Transformation, the Senior Manager accountabilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Lead collaborative work to design and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communication strategy to support Global Compliance's strategic objectives with a particular focus on the RCM Program
  • Build and maintain strong and effective working relationships within the Enterprise and Global Compliance, and act as a central liaison with key stakeholders on the RCM Program and Compliance Transformation initiatives
  • Work with the Compliance leadership team, business management/partners to develop proactive strategies, tactics, policies and programs to effectively manage stakeholder engagement and promote consistency in the application of the Compliance programs and standards across the Enterprise
  • Identify opportunities to enhance innovation, workflow capabilities and implementation of transformation initiatives to support technology enablement and digitization of Compliance capabilities
  • Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for Compliance
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork and promote timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Foster the continued development of a risk culture and compliance mindset across the department and in the business

Job Requirements:

  • University degree and minimum 7 years of relevant industry work experience (compliance or risk management experience preferred)
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, compliance or risk management programs is highly desirable with preference for candidates who can demonstrate development of program elements and/or implementation of stakeholder change management strategies and/or programs
  • A high degree of professionalism, poise and leadership, and persuasive communication skills, with the ability to represent Global Compliance with multiple stakeholders across the Enterprise
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to elicit requirements from a business perspective, synthesize the information, and articulate those requirements in a manner that can be easily understood
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking/presentation skills and well-developed listening and collaboration skills
  • Ability to deal with conflicting points of view and to effect creative and responsive solutions
  • Ability to lead projects and work independently to achieve goals
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and analytics and reporting applications
