Job Title: Yard Laborer

Shift/Hours: Part Time - 8:00am to 6:00pm
Pay Rate: $16.00/Hour

Assignment InformationAdvantage Personnel is looking for a dedicated and hardworking General Yard Laborer's to join our clients team at their hardware store!

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring all yard operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Your contributions will directly support our customers and other team members, by maintaining an organized, safe, and welcoming outdoor environment.

As a General Yard Laborer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to yard maintenance and customer service. This includes loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, assisting customers in locating products, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the yard. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, combined with your strong work ethic and positive attitude, will help us provide exceptional service to our clients.

You will work closely with other team members to ensure that products are readily available and accessible, enabling customers to find what they need quickly. Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, ensuring that products are displayed properly and safely
* Regularly inspect the yard for any hazards or safety concerns, addressing them promptly
* Load and unload products and materials, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper storage
* Assist in restocking shelves and displays, keeping track of inventory levels and notifying supervisors of low stock
* Greet and assist customers in locating products, providing knowledgeable recommendations and excellent customer service
* Answer customer inquiries and help resolve any issues or concerns they may have
* Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items, moving materials, and operating yard equipment
* Work outdoors in various weather conditions, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and support overall store goals

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Previous experience in a labor-intensive role, particularly in a retail or hardware environment, is preferred but not required
* Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
* Basic communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus
* Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
* A valid driver's license is preferred for potential delivery tasks or yard operations
