Job Title: Professional Painter
Location: Saint John, NB
Available Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7am-5pm
Rate of Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Assignment Information
Advantage Personnel is seeking Industrial Painters to join our client's growing team in Saint John, NB. This position requires an individual with 3-5 years of painting experience and has experience in fabricating and manufacturing. In this role, you will be required to conduct and complete full industrial painting projects. This includes pre-assessment of the space with follow through to the final quality check.

Responsibilities May Include:

* Prepare, clean, tape, wash, and ensure all necessary surfaces are acceptable to be worked on
* Apply various finishes of paint/sealant to commercial/residential spaces
* Surface Preparation: Scraping, grinding and pressure washing
* Sandblasting
* Painting/Spraying corrosion control products

Candidate Requirements:
* 3-5 years of Painting experience is Preferred - Fall Arrest/Aerial Lift Cert. would be an asset.
* Comfortable maintaining/operating small handheld power tools: Drills, scrapers, grinders, etc.
* Comfortability working at heights
* Experience in fabrication/manufacturing
* Willing to travel (PEI, NS and the Maritimes)
* Able to stand for extended periods
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
