Horizon Health Network in beautiful New Brunswick is looking for a Facilities Management Supervisor to join our team!

Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as Facilities Management Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have experience in Preventative maintenance related to equipment and building systems, facility maintenance as well as experience supervising renovation and construction projects.

Who you are

You have a worked in Facilities Management or Construction in a supervisory role for a minimum of 7 years. You have experience in building infrastructure maintenance, preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment as well as experience in renovation / construction project supervision. You are familiar with computerized work order systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Must possess 2 year diploma in Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Civil or Electronics) and be certified with the New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (a licensed Journeyman tradesperson with a Provincial Certificate of qualification issued under the Occupational Certification act may also be considered with appropriate, relevant experience).

Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.

What you will do

Reporting to the Manager of Facilities Management

  • Assigning, supervising, and coordinating work via work order system
  • Monitoring preventive maintenance program
  • Supervising internal renovation & construction projects
  • Liaising with contractors and other stakeholders
  • Reviewing contractors daily work plans and monitoring building access.
  • Communicating with other departments to resolve problems and expedite work
  • Evaluating and recommending supplies and equipment purchases
  • Participating in the employment interviewing and performance appraisal processes
