We are searching for a Client Services Coordinator to join our Parkland Cape Breton team based in Sydney, NS.

About the Opportunity

  • Assessing, planning, evaluating, and responding to client's needs.
  • Supervising health services staff and overseeing the provision of quality health services.
  • Collaborating with the other health care/service providers involved in the client's health services.
  • Meeting client personal needs according to an individualized plan of service.
  • Documenting according to facility policy and communicating pertinent and relevant information.
  • Administering medications as per Physician orders and in compliance with the organizational policies.
  • Completing all duties in a way which is consistent with Shannex's Philosophy of Service: Your life. Your choice. Your home.

About You

  • LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
  • Pharmacology and Physical Assessment course (if not completed during diploma/certificate)
  • Minimum one year experience
  • Current CPR & Emergency First Aid certification

Supplemental Qualifications considered an asset:

  • Specialized course such as: Foot Care, Palliative Care, Venipuncture
  • Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementia Care Course
  • Previous experience in working with the elderly in long-term care or a senior's living environment
