SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

JOB SUMMARY:

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Community Integration Advisor offers group sessions, support, coaching and / or skill training to clients referred by the clinician to facilitate their recovery. He / she works in collaboration with the involved professionals, people who lived through experience as well as other significant services and people involved. The work is usually done within the surroundings closest to the client and may include the community network. Needs are focused on recovery and may vary according to operational needs. He or she may also be asked to contribute to the other services within the Center.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma and "Human Services – Option adult " certificate from NBCC
  • ASIST training or willingness to follow such a course
  • 1 year experience in mental health and / or addiction treatment;
  • Past experience dealing with local agencies and community based resources
  • Demonstrate interest and ability to work with the intended clientele;
  • Ability to develop and lead individual programs and group programs;
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record and have a car with appropriate insurance to transport clients. Must show Driver Record Abstract from Service New Brunswick Motor Vehicle Branch;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
