JOB PURPOSE
The Pharmacy Clinical Manager responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining clinical services and for ensuring optimal services on a daily basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
- Registered or eligible for licensure with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists and licensed to practice in New Brunswick.
- Completion of an advanced clinical pharmacy practice program/degree or equivalent experience.
- At least three years experience in a Hospital Pharmacy
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Good work record.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Pharmacy Clinical Manager is responsible for:
- Planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating clinical pharmacy services
- Maintaining a clinical practice site
- Participating in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
- Participating in the planning, implementation and evaluation of education and training programs
- Participating in the performance management and recruitment processes
- Collaborating with the Pharmacy Operations Manager to manage financial resources
