JOB PURPOSE

The Drug Information Pharmacist is responsible for providing comprehensive drug information services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Registered or eligible for licensure with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists and licensed to practice in New Brunswick.
• Three years of relevant experience is required.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Good work record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Drug Information Pharmacist is responsible for:

• Providing current, comprehensive drug information through evaluating pharmaceutical and medical literature
• Responding to drug therapy information requests
• Supporting drug reviews for formulary consideration
• Maintaining current, comprehensive drug information resources
• Providing mentoring, training and education
• Acting as a preceptor
