The opportunity

You'll join our Enterprise Support Services (ESS) team helping to support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a driven administrative professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY's growth and profitability.

Your key responsibilities

As a Workplace Services clerk you are responsible for office services related activities. You are a driven workplace services professional who enjoys working in tandem with your colleagues while striving to understand and anticipate customer's needs to exceed expectations. Your key responsibilities also include:

  • Facility maintenance: Moving and configuration of office/meeting room furniture, equipment and furniture maintenance, inventory management, repairs and assembly, general office upkeep tasks such as resetting of working spaces/ meeting rooms, organizing stationery, clearing and tidying closets, pedestals and drawers.
  • Meeting preparation: Room setup, teardown/clean up.
  • Equipment management: Understand and operate office equipment, place service calls.
  • Supply provisioning & inventory control: Ordering, maintaining & distributing office supplies, assisting with inventory and storage.
  • Occupational Health & Safety: Member of the OH&S committee.
  • Occasional mail room and reception relief: For breaks, lunches, other times away.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Overtime as necessary.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 3-5 Years of facilities experience.
  • Professional services firm experience.
  • Exceptional client service experience.
  • Aptitude to differentiate when to act independently or team with others.
  • Post-secondary education.
