Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Language Access Office, the Project Coordinator is responsible to coordinate all elements of the French language project. Through the collection and analysis of client linguistic identity data, this project will help NLHS develop a better understanding of its Francophone clientele, their needs and the services they utilize.
Duties of this position will include but are not limited to integrating a patient language question into the existing clinical platform and language question into the existing HR platform working collaboratively with the Digital Health and HR departments, developing and implementing communication plans targeting our clients and employees, monitoring patient and workforce data collection and performance, analyzing patient data and reporting on needs and gaps within the system, evaluating performance of the data collection process and attending and participating all Steering Committee meetings.
The position may represent the Language Access Office on various committees and working groups with internal stakeholders as well as stakeholders at various provincial government departments and community partners. The position will create internal documents, reports, and may be required to develop and deliver training to staff.

Work provides the opportunity to occasionally stand, walk and bend and stretch within the office environment.
Constantly required to perform fine finger/precision work while sitting using a keyboard and mouse while entering and manipulating data in electronic documents, responding to information, updating databases, and preparing correspondence.
Visual concentration is required constantly for data entry and verification of information in spreadsheets as well as to write reports, emails and other correspondence.
Exact results and precision are required when preparing reports, compiling statistical information, and responding to information requests.
Auditory concentration includes constant listening to multiple stakeholders requesting information, questioning for clarity and communicating complex responses.
Occasionally impacted by interruptions and multiple time pressures/deadlines for immediate results for data or information. Reporting deadlines occur regularly.
Occasionally required to drive to various locations throughout the province to perform work duties.
Job Qualifications
Education
Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Public Health or Social Sciences is required.
Experience
Minimum of two years of experience within the last four working in a business environment performing evaluation, data assessment, and analysis is required.
Experience with project management would be an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
The ability to communicate in French fluently is preferred.
Demonstrated collaboration, superior oral and written communications skills, attention to detail, and the ability to plan and organize are required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated individual leadership skills and autonomous critical thinking ability.
Demonstrated time management skills as well as experience prioritizing and working in dynamic and collaborative environments.

A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
A satisfactory driver's license and driver's abstract will be required.
