Nurse Practitioner - Intensive Care Unit
Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL

Required Qualifications: Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador and current Nurse Practitioner License are required. Graduation from an approved/recognized post-secondary nursing education program with a Master of Nursing- Nurse Practitioner. A minimum of five years of acute clinical experience within the last seven, with an expertise in Critical Care is also required. The incumbent must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential. Experience working independently with limited supervision and in collaboration with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team is required. Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certification is required.

In the event no suitable candidate is found with the above qualifications, consideration may be given to candidates with an equivalent combination of experience, education and training given they are willing to complete all requirements within one year of acceptance. The successful candidate must be prepared to demonstrate proof of completion.

*A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance are required.

Hours of Work: 75 Hours per pay period
0800-1600 Hours; Flexible
Salary: $100,006.99 to $124,117.68 per Annum
