Job Description
- Plan menus and prepare food, adhering to the School Food and Nutrition Policy
- Serve or distribute the cafeteria orders, depending on the food service model
- Complete daily logs as required (e.g., temperature, cleaning, amount of food prepared, consumed and composted).
- Place food orders through identified food service distributor. If needed, place orders for non-food related items such as napkins.
- Submit menu to school administrator(s) to be shared with families in advance of the start of menu cycles
- Positively interact with students at the go through the lunch line without commenting on the types or amounts of foods they choose.
Pay & Benefits
$15.20 per hour - minimum 4 hours per day
- Vacation pay is included in the weekly salary
- On no bus days/no students present, the cafeteria is closed (without pay)
