About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Facilities Management and Support, the Carpenter is responsible for completing repairs/alterations to building structures, i.e. millwork, walls, ceilings, doors etc., and may include cutting keys, building cores for our lock system (training will be provided). The incumbent is also responsible for in-house renovations and additions, as required. This work must be done in accordance with all codes and Provincial Acts as with all pertinent policies and procedures.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Red-Seal Inter-provincial Carpenter Ticket Required
- 1 year related experience required; 4 years' experience preferred
- Travel between sites may be required, access to reliable transportation required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Incentives
$26.97 - $28.97 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
