JOB SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Senior Advisor of Organizational Risk Management, the incumbent acts as the Network's contract management expert, providing the framework required to manage contracts to reduce organizational risk. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for evaluating contracts, particularly those in the university mission and research sector, to ensure that the content as well as the consultation and signature process comply with Vitalité Health Network's guidelines, policies, objectives and purpose. The incumbent develops contract management tools, delivers training, supervises document management and develops contracts or agreements as needed. Ensures contract monitoring and progress in terms of contract extension, closure or renewal. The incumbent works closely with and provides support to the regional consultant in managing postsecondary agreements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in law, business administration or a related field is required;
- Master's degree in a relevant field may be an asset;
- Any other combination of training and experience deemed relevant and equivalent could be considered;
- Two or more years of experience in an equivalent role;
- Experience in a not-for-profit environment and/or health care setting considered an asset;
- Proven skill and experience in the development and implementation of best practices;
- A combination of training and experience deemed equivalent may be considered;
- Thoroughness, ability to react appropriately and ability to work as a team player;
- Interpersonal, coordination and organizational skills and capacity for synthesizing;
- Knowledge of risk management, as well as the laws and regulations governing the health care system, particularly in relation to procurement
- Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and the ability to find creative and strategic solutions;
- Results-oriented motivating and transformational leadership;
- Ability to ensure one's own development and that of others;
- Ability to build ties with others (effective communication, creation of networks and partnerships) and good persuasion skills;
