Jazz is looking for Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Structures) with a passion for safety and customer service to join our award-winning team.

Purpose of Position:
To maintain the aircraft in an airworthy condition and carry out maintenance tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
- Carry out maintenance duties on Jazz aircraft;
- Report on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft;
- Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with Company and Transport Canada regulations;
- Perform duties in accordance with our established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, the safety of co-workers and customers.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program.
- Must have received Transport Canada Accreditation.
- Must hold a valid Canadian issued driver's license with no restrictions and/or conditions.
- Legally able to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or on a Valid Work Permit).
- Ability to carry on normal business in English.
Opportunities:
- Our Apprentice AMEs are given the opportunity to complete all the Transport Canada tasks required to obtain their AME License.
- When positions are available, AMEs are given the opportunity to transfer bases if desired.

Wages:
The positions in our Maintenance Department are unionized positions. Current pay scales are outlined in our collective agreement.
- Pay scales are competitive and progress every 6 months to 1 year.
- AMEs qualify for a Technical Premium which is paid on top of the base wage for every hour worked.
