Details:

Using a culturally responsive pedagogy and restorative approach a must.

This position meets the criteria for a probationary/permanent contract.

Successful Term Rehire Teachers who are fully qualified will be issued a probationary/permanent contract and will become a permanent member of the school's teacher complement. Teachers should only apply for these positions if they are prepared to accept a probationary/permanent contract.

Substitute Teachers and external applicants are eligible to apply and if successful will be awarded the position for a one-year term only. Fully qualified candidates may be issued a probationary contract.

Candidates for all French Second Language Positions must also complete a French Proficiency Interview (FPI) with the Halifax Regional Centre for Education French Program Consultants who will assess the candidate's competency in French (oral and written).
