WorkSafeNB is seeking a Manager, Claims Management. Reporting to the Director, Claims Management, you as the Manager will plan, direct and manage the operations of a business unit in Claims Management and provide leadership to the team to achieve identified results within the context of the divisional operational plan and WorkSafeNB's strategic plan. You will monitor operations and take action to improve productivity, performance and efficiency, ensuring quality control, and effectively developing a high performing team that delivers superior client service.

Your key areas of responsibility include:

· Providing strong people leadership that drives engagement of the team to enable their performance, development, and overall employee experience while delivering a superior client experience. Enabling others to grow, develop and achieve career aspirations.

· Implementing the Division's business strategy by developing the processes, standards, objectives and measures for the business unit and team to maximize productivity, business performance and efficiency, and ensure quality control while delivering superior client service.

· Managing the business unit's budget and ensuring deviations from plan are identified to the Director along with drivers clearly identified.

· Understanding the purpose of the business unit and aligning people, processes, and objectives to attaining this purpose. Developing an understanding of and appropriately apply the department's unique processes, systems, policies, and procedures to drive performance, superior client service, trust, and credibility with the team.

You, as a successful candidate, possess:

· University Degree in a relevant discipline.

· 3-5 years' experience leading teams or supervisory experience.

· Experience working with individuals and teams to improve personal and operational performance.

· Strong communication and change leadership skills.

· Commitment to principles of client service and client centric thinking.

· Understanding and proficiency in financial management and budgeting.

· Leading change principles and processes.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.

Your primary workspace will be from your in-home office, with the occasional expectation of in person meetings. For these reasons, working from outside the province of New Brunswick, or country, is not permissible.

Hours of work are those required to perform the assigned tasks but shall not be less than 35 hours per week.

Pay Scale $94,276.19 to $110,912.47
