The Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Management is a Fredericton Campus unit providing forestry and environmental management education programs to undergraduate and graduate students, among other activities.

Salary Range: $23.48 - $27.26 per hour
YOUR FOCUS
The Graduate Program Assistant provides administrative support and overall management of the graduate program within the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Management.
- Provide support to the Director of Graduate Studies running the graduate program, including composing correspondence and processing grad forms.
- Act as first point of contact regarding graduate degree admission requirements, travel, accommodations, tuition fees, living expenses, etc.
- Process, track and monitor, review, maintain, and update all aspects of the online admissions system for the graduate students.
- Prepare graduate student payment forms and update student records as necessary.
- Coordinate and schedule all aspects of MScF, MScFE, MScEM, MF and MFE thesis examinations, report presentations, proposal presentation. Organize PhD dissertation examinations in consultation with the School of Graduate Studies.
- Maintain graduate SharePoint communications site. Prepare regular reports for the Director, including student enrollments, program progress, and competition requirements.
- Assign rooms keys and manage electronic door system.
- Assist in the coordination of student awards ceremony, graduate symposium, and silver ring ceremony.
- Take minutes for various committees.
- Provide administrative support to faculty members, and staff as required.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Post-secondary education, preferably a diploma in Business Administration.
- 2-3 years' related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
