OMISTA is looking for a Branch Manager to join our Team.

THE POSITION

As a Branch Manager at OMISTA Credit Union, you will lead the daily operations of the branch, ensuring that it delivers high-quality financial services to our members. You will oversee staff, build member relationships, and drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. We are looking for a results-oriented leader with strong communication and leadership skills to uphold our credit union's values and mission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Management:

  • Oversee branch operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of employees to meet performance goals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Business Development:

  • Develop strategies to grow membership, deposits, and lending portfolios.
  • Promote the credit union's products and services, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and member engagement.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with members, business partners, and the local community.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure branch compliance with all credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage branch budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Oversee branch security audits, and risk management initiatives.

Member Services:

  • Provide exceptional service to members, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Ensure a high standard of member satisfaction, identifying opportunities to enhance the overall member experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Exceptional Customer Service and Sales skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience with lending and loan management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union principles and philosophy.
  • Experience with business development and outreach.

Education and Training

  • College diploma or university degree in a business discipline, plus a minimum of five years of job-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
