The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Specialist, Supply Chain Solution to join our Procurement Centre of Excellence team in Toronto.

This is a permanent hybrid position.

As a Specialist, Supply Chain Solution, you will be responsible for globally implementing processes and technology in inbound logistics and procurement. Analyzing best practices operations for standardization and maturity enhancement, as well as implementing and managing new project, be responsible for making improvements, recommendations, problem solving, planning and prioritizing work with specific deadlines, coordinating tasks and activates with other departments. Your experience and skills will provide ongoing support to warehousing, procurement and operations coordinate initiatives and provide an excellent standard of service that will meet the needs of the business.

Additionally, in this position you will:

  • Leverage analytical process to solve tough problems and support the goals and objectives of Global Procurement / Inbound Logistic (PIL). This will be done by analyzing third-party spend, supplier pricing proposals, contracts, identifying opportunities and supporting ongoing sourcing engagements.
  • Continuous improvement: Support various strategic initiatives (big and small) including process re-design, strategy development, priority-setting, digital culture transformation.
  • Report on key performance indicators that will demonstrate business value to internal clients. You will collect, analyze, and report data to improve business operations, enhance customer experiences that enable the PIL strategy.
  • Solution Development: In collaboration with the teamwork come up with solutions, strategies and/or scenarios to enhance the PIL process. Deep dive into solution technical aspects and analysis to calculate savings, evaluate the best solution and build roadmaps or support the implementation process.
  • Client Engagement and Interaction: Keep track of delivery and validation activities from the client side. Maintain effective client communication and assist in managing client expectations.
  • Documentation: Create, update, upkeep, and store project documentation, both for clients and for internal reference or reuse.

About You

Education:

  • A University Diploma degree in a related discipline.
  • CITT/P. Log Certification is required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years' relevant/related experience.

Skills:

  • Experience with project management, collaboration, and gaining consensus
  • Supply Chain background
  • Strong comprehension of Supply Chain and Inventory Management
  • Process and control knowledge
