Job Description

Western Memorial Hospital is seeking managers who are interested in training as a Site Clinical Manager to provide casual call-in relief.

The Site Clinical Manager is the on-site manager responsible and accountable for the overall direction and coordination of clinical and human resource activities at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre, the Protective Care Residences, Western Long Term Care Home, and Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre during evenings, nights, statutory holidays, and weekends. He/she will manage patient flow, monitor appropriateness of admission and patient placement and coordinate human resource activities to ensure the appropriate resources are available to meet patient care requirements.
Interested candidates will possess a bachelor's degree from a health-related discipline and be registered with their provincial regulatory body. Five (5) years' of management experience is considered an asset. Successful candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, critical thinking, effective problem solving, decision making, and communication skills.
