Job Description
As a Shipper/Receiver, your main responsibility is to ensure that all inventory is efficiently and accurately received at or transferred from the store. You are organized and can adapt to a constantly changing workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
- Scan in all incoming distributions and transfers
- Maintain shipping logs
- Monitor all un-received cartons and transfers and place the necessary
- Sort shipments and distribute product accordingly
- Transfer stock to other stores as requested
- Keep shipping/receiving area clean and organized
- Assist in the preparation for physical inventory counts
- Provide assistance to the sales staff in moving of display units, restocking of merchandise, and ad set up
- Deliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targets
Required Skills and Knowledge
- A passion for the outdoors and a drive to inspire others
- Previous retail inventory control or warehouse experience is an asset
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check (Must be 18 or older to complete a background check)
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy containers (up to 50lbs)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Computer literacy is an asset
