Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate - Sudbury

Kerr Smart Energy. (Kerr) is a leading distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment, and Supplies. We have an immediate opening for a dynamic, dedicated, and highly motivated Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Truck Driver & Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid provincial driver's license and be comfortable with local driving, with previous warehouse experience and a forklift operating license. TDG training is preferred but not required. In this role, you will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers, maintain detailed paperwork, and uphold safe work practices. You will also support our customers, sales team, and fellow staff in achieving branch performance goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers
• Complete paperwork with attention to detail and accuracy
• Maintain safe and efficient work practices in all tasks
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
• Support inside and outside sales teams in daily operations
• Assist team members in achieving branch performance goals
• Ensure proper handling and loading/unloading of goods in the warehouse
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth delivery processes

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid provincial driver's license (G License)
• Comfortable with local driving throughout the area
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred
• Forklift operating license is an asset
• TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) training is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to safely load, unload, and handle goods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and practices
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
