Position Description:

· Lead the project cleaning which would include tasks such as room cleaning, window cleaning, curtain washing and wall washing.

· Floor Care (light scrub & waxing) Able to follow a floor care program

· Assist or Perform Snow Removal (shovel & salt walkways or snowblower if required)

· Assist or Perform minor maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, plunging toilets or other similar activities

· Assist or Perform receiving of deliveries

· Identify & report maintenance needs

· Laundry & Garbage pick up as required

· Housekeeping of Village Center offices, rooms & washrooms

· Assist with special events (Set up and dismantle tables, chairs, etc.)

· Assist residents moving into and out of the home

· Stocking supplies in the houses.

· Assist laundry operations

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Physically capable of performing assigned duties, must be able lift 35lbs, and ability to work safely from a ladder.

· Must be able to use buffing machines and automatic floor scrubbers

· Ability to drive tractor & run snow blower considered an asset or willing to train

· Work independently in a team environment

· Willing to work on committees

· Willing to pursue further training

· Good communication skills, both verbal and written

· Demonstrated knowledge of safe working practices and WHMIS

· Demonstrated knowledge of infection control practices

· Excellent Attendance

· Prior Years Education & current year role specific education completed by due date.
