Position Overview:

The City of Saint John is seeking to recruit team orientated, motivated casual employees to join Transportation & Public Works team for the winter months. The incumbents will work in a multi-facetted department responsible for maintaining outdoor and indoor Parks and Recreation facilities as well as trees, parks and landscape maintenance during the winter months, often under challenging environmental and other working conditions.

The successful candidate will ideally have related post-secondary education and experience in maintenance and construction work, the aptitude to learn and to adapt to new workplace technologies, and the ability to develop in the municipal public service. A valid driver's license is also required.
