Global Transaction Banking ("GTB") is comprised of four business lines: Treasury Solutions – Corporates ("CCM"), Treasury Solutions - Financial Institutions ("FI"), Global Trade Finance ("GTF") and Export Agency Finance ("EAF"). Key support functions include: Credit Structuring, Product and Client Solutions, Business Intelligence and Business Risk / Control.

GTB is a key growth business within TDS offering innovative solutions and treasury advisory services on large and complex liquidity, payments and trade needs. Over the last decade, we have seen unprecedented levels of innovation within our industry which GTB continually adapts to meet our client's needs. GTB is highly integrated within TDS and TD Bank Financial Group and works in close partnership with Risk, Operations, Legal, GAML, and Treasury and Balance Sheet Management.

Overview of business divisions:

Treasury Solutions - CCM provides treasury management products to Canadian headquartered companies and the subsidiaries of global multi-nationals. Treasury management consists of the collection, disbursement and management of money, and the related information technology required to directly integrate with our clients.

Treasury Solutions - FI provides Canadian payment clearing and settlement services to financial institutions globally who fall within our strategy and risk appetite. As an integral team member in FI coverage, you will have responsibility for managing product profitability, provide exceptional client servicing, act as first line of defense for risk and Internal compliance, as well as support a broader TDS wide client relationship management mandate. Effective and impactful FI coverage means delivering one-TD to our FI clients and prospects to developing 'partner' banks. Internally within TDS, one-TD means working in close collaboration with partners in Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and TD's Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) to achieve strategic outcomes.

GTF provides tailored financing solutions to help companies facilitate cross-border transactions and manage their overall business more effectively and efficiently. The global team develops client centric solutions by employing traditional trade finance products to help mitigate risk associated with domestic business needs or foreign sales and purchases. Additionally, is supports foreign banks and their clients' needs in North America and acts as a trusted partner to mitigate risks in international trade.

EAF consists of a global coverage and structuring team, which assists institutions arrange and underwrite medium and long-term loans backed by highly-rated Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and Sovereigns, Supranationals and Agencies (SSAs).

Your Summer as a Global Transaction Banking Analyst:

• You will receive 4 months of on-the-job training covering origination and execution across GTB
• Opportunities to gain exposure to a wide variety of functions and products across TD Securities
• Opportunities for client facing exposure and assisting in deal structuring and client proposals

How You Will Contribute:

• Complete complex financial transactions in a fast-paced, highly competitive business environment
• Work as part of the GTB team to maximize business opportunities and provide financial solutions to our corporate and institutional client base
• Assist the GTB team achieve its objectives by foreseeing client needs and developing an unparalleled level of execution excellence
• Participate in the GTB Summer Analyst group project, culminating with presentation to Head of GTB and all GTB Business Heads

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills and strong business, finance, mathematics and quantitative analysis skills, or relevant experience
• Industry experience and courses are highly desirable
• Note: prospective candidates will be notified by e-mail and invited to participate in a multi-round interview process

• 3rd Year undergraduate students (entering 4th year September 2025) with a demonstrated record of achievement
