Associate Role Profile: 1-year in-depth experience, complemented by programming, coaching, tools and support.

HR Data, Analytics and Reporting (HR DAR) works with the HR business partners and Centres of Excellence (CoE) to deliver insightful reporting and advice-based analytics to enable better people decisions. Our mission is to be trusted partners in delivering data driven insights and advice that help TD grow its business, realize efficiencies and drive legendary. HR DAR works with the policy owners/centres of excellence (CoE) to enable HR strategies, partnering with Enterprise Applications to deliver people analytics to global HR, people managers and employees. HR DAR helps deliver legendary employee experiences by building, supporting and integrating platforms spanning core HR; talent management, learning and performance; case management and tools to access the HR service model; data and analytics and total rewards. The team is focused on digitizing and automating processes, increasing the effectiveness of self-serve options and growing data management capabilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Analytics, Insights & Artificial Intelligence (AI2) Associate Program is a 1-year enhanced development opportunity in analytics and data. The Data Science and Advanced Analytics Associate will perform a variety of activities, which may include:
- Apply advanced machine learning methods to conduct data-driven research, identify opportunities, and make tangible recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for process optimization and informed decision-making and build innovative solutions.
- Work with structured and unstructured data and prepare data sets for machine learning through integration, cleaning, feature engineering, scaling and transforming data
- Build production-scale solutions and work with deployment teams to integrate in business operations
- Leverage visualization methods to represent results and communicate outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be graduated between May 2023 and May 2025 with an Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, and/or Data Analytics or related.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills as well as a passion for analytics are necessary.
- Experience with analyzing large data sets, drawing insights and inferences, and communicating outputs.
- Experienced in one or more of:
- Big Data – Programming, Data/Text Mining, Optimization, Algorithm Development, Automation, Data Visualization, Simulation
- Machine Learning – Predictive Analytics, Regression, Logit Modeling, Discrete Choice, Propensity Modeling, Natural Language Processing.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with one or more of: R, Python, Spark, SQL, SAS, Java, or C/C++
- Technical knowledge or experience with Hadoop and Cloud environments as well as experience with Data Management, and Project Management are a plus.
- Must have strong leadership qualities including demonstrating initiative, establishing priorities and using strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each initiative, project or team assigned to.
- Able to participate as part of a team with targeted deliverables, working on initiatives designed to improve decisions, processes, systems, and applications which support our key businesses.
- Remain current with emerging trends and technologies in Data Science
