The Internal Audit team supports the Audit and Finance Committee, the Executive and business area leaders by proactively providing independent and objective assurance and advisory services that add value to the organization with respect to governance, risk management and internal controls.


Key functions include:

• Responsible for performing individual internal audit projects, as part of the annual risk-based internal audit plan which includes developing internal audit scope, performing internal audit procedures, and preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed.

• Undertake the timely and methodical execution of audits with detailed paperwork documentation.

• Contribute actively to the enhancement and refinement of the Internal Audit Program, providing insightful recommendations and assisting in the implementation of best practices to improve overall audit effectiveness and efficiency.

Our ideal teammate will have:

• A University Degree with a major in a quantitative subject area such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Risk Management.
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation
• Eight years of progressive related experience, of which at least five years should be post-designation work in auditing, and proficiency in audit standards, techniques, and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word
• Strong written communication skills with a proven ability to prepare clear and concise reports
• Experience with audit software and data analytics software
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system would be an asset

An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
