Classification: Full-time NSGEU Level 4 Position
Starting Salary: $30,134 per annum (Step Progression: $30,134 to $35,983)

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Business Services the Print Shop Technician completes print and design work using digital printers; and some artwork manipulation utilizing Adobe Creative Suite. This position also performs full finishing functions such as cutting, perforating, packaging and some delivery. The incumbent will cover front office work which may include use of scanning and grading equipment, and other related duties.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a minimum of one-year post-secondary education at a community college, specializing in Graphic and Print Production, with 12 months related experience or an equivalent amount of combined education and experience. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher and Access), accuracy and attention to detail is essential in this position. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite would be an asset. Applicants must also possess excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills; be willing to work in a collaborative manner with a wide range of people; understand the importance of confidentiality and be capable of working independently.
