SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Director of Professional Services, the manager will plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and monitor the activities of the Physiotherapy departments to provide quality services to patients, employees and visitors in accordance with professional standards, the policies and procedures of Vitalité Health Network, and accreditation standards.The position duties also include compliance with the mission, vision and values of the Network as well as collaboration in the various regional projects and committees of the professions in question.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or master's from a recognized university in a health-care profession, preferably a discipline under his or her supervision
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience;
  • Minimum of three years of recent management experience;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and strong ability to work independently;
  • Participatory management approach and positive attitude;
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities and ensure follow-up;
  • Planning, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills;
  • Skills in budget planning and analysis, strategic planning, problem analysis and solving, and information management;
  • Excellent leadership, sound judgment, initiative, creativity and ability to adhere to, engage in, and manage change;
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours;
  • Good knowledge of and ability to use computer tools and office automation applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Meditech, Outlook, collaboration site, etc.);
  • Sincere desire to improve one's professional knowledge and skills and ability to stimulate professional interest within a team;
  • Knowledge of the code of ethics of professions under their responsibility;
  • Interpersonal skills promoting a climate conducive to welcoming and showing concern for clients and to effective communication;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.

  1. The salary commensurates with provincial scale for management staff.
