City Homemakers Service Society is currently seeking applications for the position
of Bookkeeper/Payroll Administrator. This position reports directly to the
Executive Director of the Agency. Duties of this position will include, but not be
limited to, the financial operations of the agency.


Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Business Computer Applications Program certificate or diploma from an
approved business college and at least three years bookkeeping experience
• Experience in computerized payroll and accounting programs, preferably
Simply Accounting
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced/multi task environment and able to adapt to a
changing work environment
• Must possess the ability to prioritize and be able to work with minimum
supervision
• Ability to take on call duties on a rotational basis
• Knowledge of Alayacare scheduling system a definite asset
• Knowledge of the Home Care Nova Scotia program
• Proficiency in Windows 10, Word, Excel, Access Database, Simply
Accounting
