We, at the Municipality of the District of Chester, are on the lookout for a highly organized and dedicated individual to join our Financial Services Department as a Procurement Officer.

About Your New Role

As a Procurement Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for procurement services, dedicated to supporting and improving procurement processes. This full-time, in-person position is based out of our office in beautiful Chester, NS, Nova Scotia.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, Provincial legislation, and trade agreement obligations.
  • Providing contract management support to the organization.
  • Assisting with the procurement process, including preparation and/or review of procurement documents.
  • Collaborating with staff across all municipal departments.
