Reporting to the Organizational Development Lead, Engagement & Culture, the HR Coordinator - Organizational Development ensures the effective, efficient, and timely solutions to deliver on the implementation and ongoing management of strategic HR initiatives. This includes culture change, employee engagement, experience, and development. The HR Coordinator- OD will be responsible for triaging all Organizational Learning & Development needs coming in from the business through providing a high quality of communication and organizational support. They will also function as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients, both in person and on the phone, to the People & Culture office.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Leads organizational development initiatives to ensure the NSLC workforce has access to opportunities to promote personal and professional development such as pre-leadership programming, and integration of our leadership competencies and service standards.
  • Executes on the identified initiatives of the workplace culture strategy.
  • Responsible for the stewardship of the Engagement Action planning process throughout the organization. Facilitating the successful adoption of the action plans in collaboration with the Business Partnerships team.
  • Responds appropriately and timely to all inquiries to the People & Culture department and ensures all matters are answered or routed to the appropriate person.
  • Delivers training programs that reinforce cultural competence, leadership competency development and team cohesion.
  • Manage execution of communication plans in collaboration with the communications team for strategic initiatives and OD solutions
  • Act as a Super User for the Learning Management System (LMS) to collaboratively manage the system and troubleshoot user issues and manages the coordination of all incoming inquires to the Organizational Learning & Development team.
  • Document and maintain HR people processes, including the creation and maintenance of
  • support guides and FAQs to ensure employee adoption.
  • Acts as the People & Culture SharePoint Site Admin, managing security permission and file maintenance.
  • Managing and sourcing external business partnerships for alignment on training opportunities that promote an inclusive and accessible culture in the workplace.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Inclusivity & Accessibility team to deliver on the execution of IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility) initiatives.
  • Advises and works closely with the Talent Acquisition & Total Rewards team to ensure employee recognition programming is aligned to culture building strategy.
  • Provides expertise to the overall Organizational Learning & Development team on various education initiatives impacting the overall culture and engagement of the organization.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned; travel, primarily within the province as required.
Qualifications

As a qualified candidate you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or certificate in a related field such as Human Resources, Learning and Development or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Experience and/or extensive training in the use of Microsoft Office tools
  • 2-3 years experience working in an office setting

As an ideal candidate you will have:

  • Professional designation (or working towards one) such as CPHR or equivalent
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
  • Experience in a unionized environment

An alternate combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent.
