We are looking for an HR Programs Specialist to lead and support HR technology initiatives. The role involves analyzing business processes, managing system requirements, overseeing deployment, and ensuring alignment with business strategy. The ideal candidate will bring their will bring expertise in HR systems, project management, analytics, and stakeholder engagement.
Here's where you'll be focusing:
- Lead and support HR technology initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful research, execution, delivery, and support
- Identify new business processes and strategies by researching industry best practices and acting as a subject matter expert (SME) in Human Resources technology
- Coordinate the development of comprehensive business cases and other project initiation activities
- Direct the development of business and system requirements through detailed analysis and discovery work
- Lead the deployment of new HR technology, including requirement elicitation, process mapping, training, testing, deployment support, and benefits realization
- Manage the release process for continuous improvement initiatives, reviewing release notes and overseeing testing of new functionality
- Track and report on deployment success metrics, end-user usage, and benefits realization, informing leaders for necessary actions
- Ensure sustainability and provide functional support for systems within the HR technology platform, actively promoting adoption and engagement in supported processes
- Manage escalated support of HR systems, complete Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing, and collaborate with IT partners on system requirement translation and high-level design
- Collaborate with IT, stakeholders, and HR teams to translate system requirements, lead high-level design, streamline releases, and ensure HR systems align with business strategy and processes
What you have to offer:
- Undergraduate Degree in HR, IT, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in project execution, process analysis, change management, HR, or IT
- Expertise in HR Systems, such as SuccessFactors or Ceridian
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
- Demonstrated Project Management experience
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Bilingual in English and French is preferred as the candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada. English - 50%, French - 50%
