Job Title: Shop Painter Assistant
Rate of Pay: $20.00-$23.00/hour (based on experience)
Available Shift: Days (Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 4:30pm)
Location: St. Catharines- Dunkirk Rd. and Welland Ave.
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hire

We are hiring a Painter Assistant in St. Catharines! This facility manufactures large, high-quality trucks and trucking equipment. Candidates must have attention to detail, great communication skills, be able to lift 50lbs throughout the shift, and assist with other tasks as needed.

Job Duties: • Paint/touch up equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Clean and prepare/tape parts for spray painting
• Check complete jobs to ensure they adhere to quality standards
• Work according to safety guidelines
• Clean and maintain workspaces
• Lifting up to 50lbs and completing general labour tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:
• Previous experience painting, detailing, or in an automotive shop role
• Safety oriented
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
• Valid License and own vehicle to commute to work (facility is not transit accessible)
• Willing to provide criminal record check
