JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Digital Health and Innovation, the incumbent will be responsible for the integration, management and optimization of data within the organization. The candidate will be responsible for developing advanced data models, participating in the evolution of the data architecture, and ensuring compliance with data governance best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in business computing/business intelligence, computer or data science, information technology, engineering or other relevant discipline;
  • Five to seven years' experience in data science, business intelligence or related fields;
  • Good knowledge of data extraction, processing and loading processes (ELT/ETL);
  • Very good knowledge of SQL language;
  • Good knowledge of Python language;
  • Excellent understanding of database operation and management (SQL Server);
  • Experience in creating, enhancing and maintaining databases and data pipelines;
  • Knowledge of standard BI and database tools, specifically Power BI, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and MS SQL;
  • Mastery of cloud systems (Azure) and experience with cloud-based data storage and computing platforms;
  • Experience in container technology;
  • Ability to create data flows and enrich data warehouses;
  • Ability to create, modify and deploy Power BI dashboards;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel;
  • Strong understanding of security and compliance concepts and best practices in data warehousing;
  • Experience with Power Apps (an asset);
  • Strong analytical, creative, strategic and problem-solving skills;
  • Tolerant of ambiguity, motivated and rigorous;
  • Careful attention to detail;
  • Adaptability and ability to manage several tasks at a time;
  • Strong communication and writing skills in both official languages;
  • Ability to engage and lead focus groups and work groups;
  • Ability to translate organizational needs into technical solutions;
  • Proven ability to simplify and adapt the level of technical information for the target audience;
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multidisciplinary teams;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
